Cheapest Couriers in June 2026: Monthly Price Comparison

Last updated: 1 June 2026

Every month I compare prices across every major UK courier to find the cheapest options. June 2026 has some interesting shifts. Royal Mail has quietly increased prices on their Tracked 48 service, but several budget couriers have launched summer promotions that undercut them significantly.

Here is the full breakdown for June 2026, based on real quotes I have pulled for standard parcel sizes.

Small Parcels (under 2kg)

For small, lightweight items the cheapest options this month are:

  1. Evri ParcelShop Drop-off - from around 3 pounds (economy 5-7 days)
  2. Yodel Direct - from around 3 pounds (3-5 day delivery)
  3. Royal Mail 48 (via reseller) - from 2.89 pounds (2-3 days)
  4. DPD Pickup - from 3.29 pounds (next day, drop at shop)
  5. InPost Locker - from 2.99 pounds (locker to locker, 2-3 days)

The big winner for small parcels in June is still Evri via their ParcelShop network, but only if you are happy with 5-7 day delivery. If you need it there faster, DPD Pickup at 3.29 is remarkable value for next-day service. You drop it at a local shop and it arrives next working day.

Medium Parcels (2-10kg)

This is where most eBay and Vinted sellers sit. The medium parcel bracket for June 2026:

  1. Evri Standard - from 3.49 pounds (5-7 days, up to 15kg)
  2. Yodel - from 4.19 pounds (3-5 days)
  3. DPD Local - from 5.99 pounds (next day with collection)
  4. UPS Access Point - from 5.49 pounds (2-3 days, drop at shop)
  5. ParcelForce 48 - from 8.99 pounds (2 day, collection included)

Evri dominates on price again, but their tracking and delivery reliability still frustrate some sellers. For anything valuable over 20 pounds, I personally use DPD Local at 5.99. The next-day guarantee and photo-on-delivery proof is worth the premium. Fewer "item not received" claims to deal with.

Large and Heavy Parcels (10-30kg)

Shipping heavy items is where prices vary most between couriers. June 2026 prices for a 15kg box:

  1. Evri XL - from 6.99 pounds (5-7 days, up to 15kg)
  2. DHL Parcel UK - from 8.49 pounds (2-3 days)
  3. DPD - from 9.99 pounds (next day)
  4. ParcelForce Express 24 - from 14.99 pounds (next day, signed)
  5. TNT/FedEx - from 1around 3 pounds (next day)

For anything over 15kg, your options narrow significantly. Most budget couriers cap at 15kg. DHL and DPD handle up to 30kg reliably. For items over 30kg you are looking at pallet couriers which is a different comparison entirely.

International Shipping - June 2026

Sending abroad from the UK this month, the cheapest options I have found:

  • Europe (1kg): from 5.99 via Evri International, 7.49 via DHL
  • USA (1kg): from 9.99 via Evri, 14.99 via DHL Express
  • Australia (1kg): from 12.99 via Evri, 19.99 via DHL

Remember that international shipments may have customs duties payable by the recipient. Check our customs guide for details on what to declare and how to fill in customs forms correctly.

June 2026 Promotions and Deals

A few notable offers this month:

  • DPD are running a "Summer Saver" promotion with 15 percent off collections booked before 10am
  • Evri have reduced their ParcelShop rates for items under 1kg by around 10 percent
  • Royal Mail are offering free Saturday delivery on Tracked 24 parcels posted Monday-Wednesday

These promotions change frequently. The quickest way to find the current cheapest option for your specific parcel is to use our instant price comparison. Enter your parcel dimensions and weight and we check all couriers in real time.

My Recommendation for June

If you are a casual sender shipping one or two items this month, Evri ParcelShop gives the best price. If you are a regular seller doing 10+ parcels a week, DPD Local with their business account rates is the sweet spot of price, speed, and reliability.

Whatever you are sending, always compare prices first. It takes 10 seconds and regularly saves two to five pounds per parcel. Over a month of selling, that adds up fast.
